Octave UCME is the developer of the Youseeme application
As soon as you register using the Youseeme application, your profile data is used to create an encrypted digital identity, which is then recorded in the Blockchain journal. You will receive a QR code encoding your identity, and no third party would be able to decipher its content without you sharing the key or the QR-CODE. Moreover, your identity cannot be copied or saved by the said third party.
Can I erase my digital identity from your database?
Your personal information is not saved in our databases, but rather in the Blockchain journal, and as such you are the only entity to have access to it. The Blockchain journal does not belong to any person. In particular, it is not saved by any entity or person, as the information it encloses is distributed on thousands of servers worldwide. While this makes it impossible to erase previously shared information, it also means no one has access to it other than you. Because of this, losing the QR-CODE or the login/password protecting your identity would result in losing access to it, and having to create a new digital identity!
What are my ownership rights?
Through your digital identity, all content written or produced by you will be attached to your signature and to your identity, and no one would be able to use said content without your authorization, or claim having created or produced it before you, as the verification process is structured within the Blockchain journal, and can determine authorship and anteriority, as well as the identity of the content producer.
How does the Bartcoin currency work?
The Bartcoin crypto-currency is a currency just like the dollar or the euro, kept in an electronic (digital) “wallet”. All these currencies have a defined value at any given moment. The Bartcoin currency facilitates the exchange of goods and services of equal value through a barter process that is accepted by both parties involved therein.
The Bartcoin is valued against the user’s local currency – one Bartcoin is equal to one Euro – for the purpose of homogenizing transactions performed by members from different countries. There are no transaction or banking fees for conversions involving this currency. Moreover, VAT taxes are not applicable since there is no billing or accounting involved. Dealing in Bartcoin is perfectly legal as, to date, there is no legal contraindications forbidding its use. Whenever there is a change in the legal status, Bartcoin will obey the legal jurisdiction, and the law will adapt to the situation.
Do I need legal counsel?
Terms of this contract can be wholly based on an agreement independent of any jurisdiction, whereas attorneys at law and notaries are necessary for any judicial, legal, and fiscal aspect, especially in case of litigation or disagreement amongst involved parties. In principle, the smart contract significantly reduces the risk of legal conflict, and legal implications are reduced. For ownership proceedings, the involvement of a notary remains indispensable.

You may receive notifications for ads that are delivered by Youseeme. If you do not wish to receive ads targeted to your interests from Youseeme’s advertising platform, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, which will opt your Youseeme ID out of receiving such ads regardless of what device you are using. You can always refer to notifications under “Youseeme news” based on context.
As is true of most internet services, we gather some information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type and language, Internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit websites and applications, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We use this information to understand and analyze trends, to administer the site, to learn about user behavior on the site, to improve our product and services, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. Octave UCME may use this information in our marketing and advertising services.
In some of our email messages, we use a “click-through URL” linked to content on the Octave UCME website. When customers click one of these URLs, they pass through a separate web server before arriving at the destination page on our website. We track this click-through data to help us determine interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of our customer communications. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way, you should not click text or graphic links in the email messages.
Pixel tags enable us to send email messages in a format customers can read, and they tell us whether mail has been opened. We may use this information to reduce or eliminate messages sent to customers.

If you purchase a subscription in a third party app or within the Youseeme application, we create a Subscriber ID that is unique to you and the developer or publisher which we use to provide reports to the developer or publisher that include information about the subscription you purchased, and your country of residence. If you cancel all of your subscriptions with a particular developer or publisher, the Subscriber ID will reset after 180 days if you do not re-subscribe. This information is provided to developers so that they can understand the performance of their subscriptions.

If you ask us, we will endeavor to provide you with information about relevant complaint avenues which may be applicable to your circumstances.
